Miniland Doll Review.

We had the pleasure of being sent a beautiful Miniland Doll from Axis Toys to review this week, and he arrived at the perfect time! It was Elsa’s birthday recently and she had received two gorgeous Miniland Dolls so he was able to join our Miniland family.

When he arrived, the kids were so excited. (So was I!) Miniland dolls are so realistic, right down to the tiniest details. Their eyes, their little dimples on their knees and even the cute little bumps on their back from their spine! These anatomically correct dolls also smell amazing and are made from the softest vinyl.

I’ve been asked a couple of times what sets these dolls apart from the rest? What makes them different? Well, as I said they are anatomically correct, but they also promote and normalise cultural and racial diversity and I’m big on that. Miniland dolls come in a diverse range and are an important educational resource, which help comprehend the concepts of family, population groups, the basic rules of relationships and coexistence, respect for racial and sexual diversity.

The kids loved that the head, arms and legs can be articulated so they can be sat, laying down, or used anyway that they please. These dolls promote imagination as they don’t speak or come with accessories so they don’t have a specific way of play, and no small parts mean they’re perfect for age 0 and up! Their realistic hair can be brushed, braided, or basically anything their mummy or daddy wants to do with it. (Let’s just hope they don’t get their hands on scissors!)

I loved that with these dolls, my kids were able to mimic what we as parents do. I was able to see how much of an impact my style of parenting had on my children. I witnessed them baby wearing, pushing them in the pram, pretending to breastfeed and change their nappy. Nothing made me happier than watching them play this way.

All in all, these stunning dolls made in Spain are perfect for all children to learn about a multitude of subjects, along with being fun and super cute. Who wouldn’t want one under their Christmas tree this year?
